A name badge makes an introduction across a counter. An ID card proves who someone is to a security desk, a patient or a parent picking up a kid. These print full color on standard card stock, with your logo, a portrait, a name, a role and whatever else you need to identify.
Layout and design
Horizontal cards suit facility access and corporate credentials. Vertical is the norm at events, schools and clinics, where the card hangs from a lanyard and gets read at a glance.
Several stock designs come with the color coding, photo well and text hierarchy already laid out. Custom designs pulled from your brand guidelines work too.
Sending photos and data
Send portraits as individual files named by employee, along with a spreadsheet of names, titles and any ID numbers. We match everything up, build a proof sheet of every card, and print once you sign off.

ID Cards FAQ
Will these work with an access control system?
These are visual ID cards. If you need an encoded proximity or smart card that opens doors, request a quote and tell us the system.
What photo resolution do you need?
At least 600 x 800 pixels, evenly lit, plain background. Phone portraits are usually fine. A crop pulled from a group photo usually isn't.
Can you print an expiry date or a QR code?
Yes. Expiry dates, QR codes, barcodes and employee numbers are all standard variable fields.
Do I see a proof before you go into production?
Always. Nothing gets run until you sign off on a digital proof, and we do not charge for proof revisions.
