Each blank is cut from actual timber, so the grain shifts from badge to badge. That reads well on a farm-to-table counter, a garden center register, a brewery taproom or an eco resort front desk. A plastic rectangle just fights the room in those settings.

Wood and finish

Dovetail runs dark, wheat runs light. Both are sealed against moisture and daily handling without losing the texture underneath.

Detail goes on two ways. Laser etching burns the mark permanently into the surface. Printing lays color on top when a logo needs to hit an exact shade. Etching wears longer and looks more like the material it's on.

Why brands pick wood

It's reusable and it biodegrades, and customers clock that in about two seconds without you saying a word. For a business already making a sustainability claim, that's most of the argument won at the badge.

Sizes on hand

Runs in 1" x 3", 1.5" x 3" and oval, pin or magnet. Grain variation is the material doing what real wood does. It's not a flaw to send back.

Real Wood Badges FAQ

Will every badge look the same?

No. Tone and grain shift a little piece to piece because it's cut from real timber, not molded.

Can these hold up in a kitchen or a nursery?

The seal shrugs off splashes and regular handling. A soak in a sink or a run through the dishwasher is a different story.

Can you print full color on wood?

Yes. The ink sits on top of the grain, so wheat picks up color truer than dovetail does.

Do I see a proof before you go into production?

Always. Nothing gets run until you sign off on a digital proof, and we do not charge for proof revisions.
