Badge programs rarely fail because a badge is missing. They fail because the hardware is. A five-pack lets facilities swap a broken magnet or convert a pin badge to magnet in thirty seconds, instead of reordering the whole badge and waiting a week.
Matching fastener to environment
Magnetic works on blazers, scrubs and knitwear, anywhere you don't want a hole. Pin is the default: cheap and solid on aprons and heavy cotton. Military post holds a badge dead level for dress uniforms. Bulldog clip suits lanyards and pocket edges. Pocket clip fits shirt pockets where nothing should pierce the fabric.
Keeping spares on hand
One five-pack of magnets per fifty badges is a reasonable starting ratio. Most losses are the keeper plate, not the badge itself. A drawer of spares removes the most common excuse for someone not wearing theirs.
Converting existing badges
Adhesive-backed fasteners stick to any flat-backed badge, including ones bought somewhere else. Wipe the back with alcohol first and give it 24 hours to cure before wearing.

Badge Accessories FAQ
Will these hold a heavy metal badge?
Magnetic five-packs handle standard and premium badges without trouble. For solid metal executive badges on heavy coats, use pin or military post instead.
Do they fit badges from another supplier?
Yes, as long as the back is flat and clean.
How many spares should I keep?
One five-pack per fifty badges to start, more if badges get handed in and out daily.
