What logo file format do I need for name badges?

Reviewed by the Best Name Badge production team · Updated September 27, 2026How we check facts

Short answer

A vector file (AI, EPS, SVG or a vector PDF) gives the sharpest print and is required for clean engraving. A high-resolution PNG or JPG at 300 dpi at badge size also prints well on full-color badges.
